Job Description

Transcendent Group Germany is looking for consultants with different levels of expertise (i.e., 3-9 years of consulting or industry experience within Compliance in e.g., Financial Services, Automotive, or Healthcare to join our Compliance team. In this very interesting and diverse role you will be involved in:

  • The design, review, enhancement, and implementation of compliance programs.
  • Engagements may include developing compliance management systems, drafting and enhancing policies and procedures, developing, calibrating and validating non-financial risk models, performing compliance monitoring, implementing compliance tools.

 

Qualifications

  • 3-9 years of experience in private or public sector Compliance-focused activities (e.g., compliance functions according to MaRisk/MaGo, capital market compliance, sales compliance, tax compliance, data privacy, antitrust). Hiring at multiple levels based on experience.
  • Consulting experience is a plus.
  • Project management and subject matter certifications (e.g. PMP, CCP) are a plus.
  • Subject matter expertise in local and international compliance regulations as they apply to financial institutions and other industries including requirements such as KWG, WpHG, DAC 6, GDPR.
  • Ability to review, write and edit policy and procedure manuals.
  • A deep understanding of compliance processes in regulated and unregulated institutions.
  • Flexible with up to 100% travel requirements of client service projects.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • You’ll need to be highly motivated, a self-starter and a strong communicator with the ability to discuss compliance content in business language to all areas of the business.
  • Ability to execute against tight deadlines, work with minimum supervision, exercise independent judgment and prioritize work.

You are passionate about business development and have extensive experience within governance, risk and compliance.

You are highly skilled within at least one of the following areas:

  • Information and cyber security;
  • Regulatory compliance (AML/CTF, GDPR experience is preferable);

You will be responsible, alongside the other pan-Baltic consultants, for keeping the local team, including yourself, utilized and for winning work that helps to grow the local business.
