We are currently looking for a senior subject matter expert in AML/CTF/KYC/ABC with entrepreneurial spirit who will play a key role in the development of the Anti-Financial Crime practice at Transcendent Group in Belgium.  

 You will take an active role in developing both AFC solutions and AFC team and will support the Head of Compliance to expand the compliance offerings. Your role

You will support as a team lead the development of the AFC practice and deliver autonomously client assignments in compliance areas such as AML/CTF, ABC, KYC, economic sanctions, fraud, capital market compliance, compliance management systems.

You are able to:

• develop and lead a team of experts
• develop and implement AFC solutions cross industries
• deliver compliance risk assessments for clients and develop compliance risk & controls frameworks
• advise clients on compliance matters and the correct application of legal and regulatory requirements
• support clients monitor and assess the effectiveness of the measures and procedures put in place to manage compliance risks
• develop compliance KPIs and monitoring reports
• support clients in developing and/or implementing appropriate tools and new technologies (e.g., AI, robotics, NLG, blockchain) to amend their compliance processes
• be interested in data science and data analytics is a plus

Qualifications:

• You hold a master’s degree in law, finance or economics.
• You have experience in compliance and regulatory matters and have already successfully performed related projects
• You have an excellent understanding of finance and business operations and their key processes.
• Experience in a Big 4 or strong competitor is a plus
• Compliance Officer certification is a plus

Skills:

• You are client minded, flexible and can work independently and in a team
• Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch and/or French
• You are sales oriented and are able to use your network effectively
• You have very good interpersonal skills
